Ras Al-Ain Police launches a campaign to remove mines

The civil police in the city of Ras al-Ain, north of al-Hasakah, launched a campaign to remove the remnants of war in the city and its countryside.
According to the police and public security apparatus in Ras al-Ain, engineering teams conducted a search to remove mines and remnants of war in the area.
It added that its teams detonated yesterday, Thursday, a group of mines that were found, noting that the detonation took place in an area devoid of population centers near the industrial checkpoint located east of Ras al-Ain.
It is noteworthy that the Civil Defense warned a few days ago of the spread of thousands of mines and remnants of war in the liberated areas, indicating that its teams are continuing to search for and remove them.
