The villages and towns of Al-Yarmouk Basin in the western countryside of Daraa join the ongoing settlement operations in the governorate

Local sources confirmed that the negotiating committees in Daraa reached, on Thursday, a new agreement to include Al-Yarmouk Basin area, west of Daraa, to the agreed-upon settlement train stations in the governorate, during the month of September, under Russian auspices.
According to “Ahrar Houran Gathering,” after a meeting between the officers of the security services of Al-Assad regime and the notables of Al-Yarmouk Basin region yesterday in the city of Daraa, it was agreed to conduct settlement operations, in Al-Yarmouk Basin area, west of Daraa.
The sources confirmed that the implementation of the agreement will begin tomorrow, Saturday, in the towns of Sahem al-Golan, Heit, and Jilin, with settlement operations for wanted persons.
And on Sunday, an inspection operation will take place in the area, which is supervised by the forces of the Russian-backed “16th Brigade,” according to the assembly.
On Monday and Tuesday, the agreement will be implemented in the towns of Al-Shajara, Jamila, Nafea, Al-Qusayr, Koya, Abdin, and Beit Ara, provided that the “Fourth Division” and “Brigade 16” withdraw from Daraa governorate next Wednesday.
According to what “Ahrar Houran Gathering” quoted from its sources, all the recently established military points of the regime forces in the western countryside of Daraa governorate - including the military points established about a year ago during the events in Tafas city - will withdraw from the area.
Yesterday, Thursday, it entered the city of Dael and the town of Ibtaa, which are adjacent to each other in the central countryside of Daraa, on the line of settlements with the regime, and both areas have been under the full control of the regime since July 2018.
