Loyal media sources confirmed that Tartous Education Directorate recorded 15 confirmed infections with Corona virus in the governorate's schools, as a result of which 5 classrooms were closed.

According to the loyalist newspaper, Al-Watan, the dismissal included the School of Excellence in the city of Tartous and Beit Olayan School, in addition to suspected injuries in a number of Drikeish schools,

The source added that the suspected person was given a five-day leave of absence until the results of the smear are released, and he is isolated if confirmed.

The newspaper quoted the Director of Tartous Education, "Ali Shahoud," called on all educational staff in the governorate to take the vaccine because it is the only effective treatment in the face of the virus, as 16,000 vaccine doses have been allocated to the directorate, and schools have been circulated with lists and names of people who must take the vaccine for the sake of their safety, as he claimed.

It is noteworthy that the Directorate of Education in Lattakia Governorate issued a decision a few days ago to close a number of classrooms in several schools due to the outbreak of Corona virus among students.
