Including an officer... dead and wounded from the regime when an explosive device exploded in the countryside of Al-Raqqa

A number of regime members were killed and others were seriously injured, Saturday evening, as an explosive device exploded in their car on the road between Al-Raqqa and Deir Ezzor.
"Ain al-Furat" network quoted a source it described as private, saying that an explosive device exploded, killing two members and injuring others, who were taken to the hospital in the city of Maadan, which is under the control of the regime forces, east of Al-Raqqa.
The source added that the regime forces imposed a security cordon in the vicinity of military points and checkpoints on Deir Ezzor – Al-Raqqa road, after the explosion, amid intense flight of Russian reconnaissance aircraft.
He pointed out that the regime forces brought in elements from military points located in the towns and villages surrounding the eastern countryside of Al-Raqqa and western Deir Ezzor to reinforce their forces following the incident, with the aim of carrying out a campaign to comb the international road.
The targeted car includes officers from the regime’s military police, one of the injured, Muhammad al-Ali, who is from the city of Salamiyah, was identified, knowing that the explosion occurred while they were on a tour of the military checkpoints in the area.
It is noteworthy that the attacks on the regime forces and the militias supporting it have increased significantly, recently, in the countryside of Deir Ezzor and Al-Raqqa, especially in the desert regions.
