The Directorates of Education in Idlib and Hama governorates suspended physical work in schools, universities and institutes, from next Saturday until the sixth of next October, due to the increasing number of infections and deaths from Corona virus, in the region.

The two principals said, in two separate statements, that during this period, all schools will be sterilized and equipped, and all employees, including administrators, teachers, and service personnel, will be obligated to take the vaccine so that only the person who took it will return to the actual working hours.

In turn, the Ministry of Education of the Syrian Interim Government has authorized school principals to take appropriate measures and decisions according to the developments in the spread of the virus in the areas of Aleppo countryside.

It is noteworthy that the Salvation Government in Idlib announced the day before yesterday, Tuesday, the suspension of schools and the complete closure of public places in its areas of control in northwestern Syria, for a period of two weeks, subject to extension, with the aim of limiting the spread of Corona virus.
