The delegations of the opposition National Coalition and the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC) denied what was circulated about a meeting held between the two parties on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly meetings in New York.

And Al-Quds Al-Arabi website quoted a member of "political body" in the coalition, "Abdul-Majid Barakat" as saying: This news is incorrect, considering that the simultaneous presence of the coalition delegation with other delegations in the same place does not mean meeting with them.

For his part, the head of the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC), Riad Darar, denied the news of a meeting between the opposition delegations and SDF, but added: "We are with this meeting, in order to reach an understanding."

He added that "Self-Administration" and "SDC" called for such a meeting more than once, to reach a correct path that leads to a political solution.

It is noteworthy that three Syrian delegations are in the work of the United Nations General Assembly session, which started on Tuesday at its headquarters in New York, where the delegation of the Syrian regime represents the official meetings, while the delegations of the "Coalition" and "Self-Administration" are participating in meetings on the sidelines of the session.
