Yesterday, Wednesday, unknown gunmen assassinated an official in Al-Baath Party in the eastern countryside of Daraa.

According to "Ahrar Houran" group, the Secretary of "Al-Baath Party" division called "Ismail Issa al-Masri", nicknamed "Abu Qassem" was killed in Umm al-Mayathen town in the eastern countryside of Daraa.

It added that unidentified gunmen riding a motorcycle opened fire on al-Masry, killing him instantly.

This comes in conjunction with the continuation of the regime forces' settlement operations in several cities and villages in the western countryside of Daraa.

It is noteworthy that the regime forces established a temporary settlement center in Abu Qantara school in the town of Tel Shhab, west of Daraa, in implementation of an agreement stipulating a settlement for members of the “Fourth Division” who defected from it about a month ago.
