Media sources confirmed that the process of transferring a number of prisoners to Ghweran prison in Al-Hasaka countryside began this afternoon, via helicopters belonging to the International Coalition.

According to "Al-Jisr" newspaper, helicopters of the International Coalition landed this afternoon inside Al-Sina'a Prison in Ghweran neighborhood, coinciding with the closure of all prison entrances.

The newspaper added that the helicopters will transport a number of prisoners to another prison in Al-Shaddadi area in Al-Hasakah.

It is noteworthy that Al-Sina'a prison in Ghweran, close to the base of the International Coalition, has witnessed several successive cases of stubbornness of prisoners, in recent times, in addition to attempts to escape.
