A research center documents 36 attacks against the Turkish army in Idlib

A report issued by a Turkish research center documented the attacks on the Turkish army in the northwestern province of Idlib, by unknown groups, since the ceasefire took effect in March 2020.
The Turkish Center for Combating Terrorism and Extremism Research said that the Turkish army was subjected to 36 attacks by unknown groups in Idlib during a year and a half.
The center added that the attacks resulted killing 12 soldiers and injury 21 others, explaining that the attacks were carried out with explosive devices, rockets, shooting, and one car bomb attack.
It pointed out that four unidentified groups were behind the attacks, namely "Ansar Abu Bakr al-Siddiq Brigade", "Khattab al-Shishani Brigades", "Jihadist Vanguard", and "Marwan Hadid Brigades".
It is noteworthy that the Turkish forces pushed many military reinforcements towards their bases deployed in Idlib countryside, in conjunction with the continuous escalation of the regime and Russia in the area.
