A lieutenant in the regime forces inflicts an unprecedented insult to the head of the Military Security Branch in Daraa

The incident of insulting Brigadier General Louay Al-Ali, head of the Military Security Branch in Daraa Governorate, by a first lieutenant in the Fifth Division called Nour Nader Salameh at a checkpoint in Masaken Jalin area in the western countryside of Daraa, is still widely interacting through the pages of regime loyalists.

In the details of the incident, Ahrar Houran Gathering website said that Al-Ali, accompanied by a patrol of the Russian military police, and the leader in the Central Committee Mahmoud Al-Bardan went to “Mansharrat Al-Khatib” checkpoint, located north of Masaken Glenn roundabout checkpoint, after receiving several complaints from the residents about the officers responsible for the checkpoint, after violations by the latter against passers-by at the checkpoint, and the imposition of royalties on cars.

The website quoted a source (who preferred to remain anonymous) that the aforementioned delegation confronted the officer in charge of the checkpoint, Nour Salama, and ordered him to retract his actions, who in turn told Louay al-Ali: “I do not take my orders from you, I take my orders from Bashar al-Assad, I do not want to see anyone here".

The incident developed last night, as an exchange of fire broke out between the members of the quadripartite checkpoint near the town of Sheikh Saad, which is a common checkpoint between Air Force Intelligence and the Fifth Division, and the members of Masaken Roundabout checkpoint.

It developed to the point of firing mortar shells, one of which fell within the Jordanian territory near the border town of Tel Shehab, and other shells in the area surrounding the two checkpoints.

Louay Al-Ali, according to what was reported by Syria TV, is one of the officers of the regime's security services in the city of Daraa, and is responsible for the Military Security Branch in Daraa and As-Suwayda.

The people of Daraa accuse him of being behind the assassination and arrest of hundreds of opponents of the regime through security cells and local groups that he recruited in his favour.

Which earns "Loay Al-Ali" thousands of dollars.

It is worth noting that the regime forces redeployed their members to Masaken Glenn checkpoint and Mansharrat al-Khatib checkpoint on September 15, after they withdrew from it last year.
