Local sources reported that on Tuesday morning, the regime forces carried out a massive arrest campaign in the eastern countryside of Al-Raqqa, targeting dozens of young men.

"Ain al-Furat " network said that the regime's military police deployed temporary checkpoints inside the towns of Al-Raqqa countryside and arrested about 120 young men.

The network added that the young men were taken to the military police station in the town of "Madan Ateeq" and they raided shops and pastures to arrest the young men.

The network stated that the campaign was launched simultaneously in Maadan city, the towns of Al-Sabkha and Al-Khamisiyah, Ma'dan Ateeq, and the villages of Zour Shammar and Ghanem Al-Ali in the eastern countryside of Al-Raqqa.

It is noteworthy that last September, the regime forces carried out a massive arrest campaign in the city of Al-Mayadin, east of Deir Ezzor, for recruiting young men.
