A university student kidnaps two girls in front of the school in Damascus countryside

Damascus countryside witnessed a shocking incident, when a university student kidnapped two girls, in a strange way, and asked their parents to pay a large ransom.

According to loyalist sources, a university student in Jdeidet Artouz area in Damascus countryside assumed the role of a social researcher, entered a number of houses and met their residents, after she convinced them that she was working to help school students bear the financial burdens.

The sources added that the woman spotted two girls in the primary stage, in the houses she visited, and worked in partnership with her sister, to kidnap them when they left school.

They indicated that the student's sister had convinced the two girls that their mother had traveled outside the country, and that she had asked her and her sister to arrange their affairs and send them to the country to which she traveled.

They pointed out that the kidnappers managed to lure the two girls to their home, and they called their families and asked for a ransom of 250 million Syrian pounds in exchange for their release, but a review of the surveillance cameras led to the identification of the kidnapped student.

It is noteworthy that the regime-controlled areas suffer from a large spread of theft, armed robbery, and kidnapping with the intent to demand ransom, in light of the security chaos and the difficult living conditions that these areas are going through.
