The Syrian National Army announced that it had thwarted an infiltration attempt by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in Afrin area in Aleppo countryside, northern Syria.

The Unified Command Room "Azm" said, through its official identifiers, that its forces had thwarted an infiltration attempt by "SDF" militia towards "Julbul" front, east of the city of Afrin.

In the context, the Turkish Ministry of Defense said that the Turkish Special Forces thwarted an attack by members of "PKK" militia on Peace Spring area, and managed to neutralize 11 of them through a successful operation.

It is noteworthy that clashes erupted two weeks ago in a similar infiltration attempt by the "SDF" militia on "Marimin" axis, northeast of Afrin, which caused the death of 3 fighters of the National Army.
