The Syrian Civil Defense announced that the risk of the accelerated spread of Corona virus is still high, in light of a significant shortage of medical supplies in northern Syria.

The Civil Defense said on its official Facebook page that the danger index in northwestern Syria is high with the fast spread of Corona virus with its new strain, "Delta", the occupancy of all hospitals, and the inability to absorb more infections.

It added that his teams continue to respond to the pandemic, and today, Saturday, 11 deaths were reported, most of them women from Corona hospitals.

It pointed out that the bodies were buried according to strict precautionary measures, and more than 45 injured were transferred to isolation centers and hospitals, with the continuation of preventive cleansing of public facilities and awareness campaigns.

It is reported that the Civil Defense warned civilians of the necessity of taking the vaccine and following the measures to prevent the virus (wearing a mask, continuous sterilization of hands, and adhering to social distancing.
