Russia targets SDF-controlled areas with a strange type of bomb

Multiple identifiers published pictures of a strange aerial bomb that was dropped on the positions of the Washington-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in eastern Syria.
It said that a Russian fighter bombed with a strange type of bombs on positions belonging to the Syrian Democratic Forces, at first it was assumed that it was possible to talk about cluster munitions, however, as it turned out, the talk is about an aerial bomb of DAB-500 type, which is rarely used.
The sources indicated that the purpose of using the bomb over northeastern Syria is still unknown.
It said, "Apparently, this may be due to the fact that SDF recently tried to start threatening the Russian army, which had set up a field camp near the American positions.
According to Al-Hadath Al-Suri website, it considered that this represents a warning to the Syrian Democratic Forces that any threat to the Russian army will result in a violent bombardment of the area, especially since Russia views the Syrian Democratic Forces as an illegitimate formation.
