The head of the Negotiating Committee for the Syrian opposition, Anas Al-Abdah, announced his visit with a joint delegation from the Syrian Negotiating Committee and the Syrian National Coalition to the United States at the time of the United Nations General Assembly.

And according to what " Al-Abdah " said in a post on his Facebook page, he will carry, during the visit, the cases of the people of Daraa, Idlib, Damascus, Aleppo and all the Syrian regions and the file of detainees, the camps and the Syrians residing in the countries of asylum.

Al-Abdah indicated that he will discuss with Arab, European, American and other officials the Syrian file, and the need to mobilize international support to activate the UN resolution (2254) with all its strains without exception.

The danger of postponing the file of releasing detainees from the regime's prisons will also be emphasized, given the importance and sensitivity of this file

It is noteworthy that the UN envoy to Syria Geir Pedersen met with the Syrian opposition in Istanbul a few days ago to discuss holding a new round of constitutional committee meetings.
