The second in less than a week, Russian reinforcements arrive in the countryside of Al-Raqqa

On Sunday, local sources reported that Russian military reinforcements arrived at Tal al-Saman base, north of Al-Raqqa, protected by helicopters.
"Ain al-Furat" network quoted an informed source as saying that the reinforcements included 8 Russian military vehicles, including 3 trucks carrying military materials, communication devices and others.
It entered SDF areas through Al-Tabqa crossing, west of Al-Raqqa, and headed to Tal al-Saman base, which the Syrian regime and Russian forces use as a base.
The source indicated that the reinforcements included 30 elements of the Russian police infantry and 85 members of the Syrian regime forces, in addition to medium and heavy machine guns, the second of its kind during the current month of September.
The source indicated that the reinforcements came in conjunction with the military escalation witnessed by the lines of contact between "SDF" and the Syrian National Army in the countryside of Al-Raqqa and Al-Hasaka.
It is noteworthy that Russian reinforcements entered Ain Issa base north of Al-Raqqa on the 15th of this month, and included more and more forces, in light of the noticeable increase in the number of Russian forces in the region.
