Local sources reported that unidentified gunmen attacked Al-Hamrat municipality building in the eastern countryside of Al-Raqqa, and killed one of the employees.

Today, Sunday, Jisr newspaper said that Al-Hamrat municipality building, east of Al-Raqqa, affiliated with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), was attacked by unidentified gunmen.

The newspaper pointed out that the attack resulted killing one of the workers in the two buildings, while the attackers fled without being identified.

The source added that the Syrian Democratic Forces mobilized in the area after the attack, searching for the militants, but it was not able to identify them.

A number of members of "Syrian Democratic Forces" (SDF) were killed on Friday night, following an attack on a military checkpoint, in the southern countryside of Al-Hasaka.

It is noteworthy that dozens of SDF members and employees of its institutions were killed, as a result of ISIS attacks in the countryside of Al-Hasaka, Deir Ezzor and Al-Raqqa, during the last months.
