On Saturday, the security forces of the regime closed most of the river crossings in the eastern regions of Syria.

According to "Euphrates Post" network, the head of the security committee of the Syrian regime in Deir Ezzor, "Jamal Mahmoud Yunis," issued a decision to close all river crossings on the Euphrates River bed between the areas controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and its areas of control.

The network indicated that the regime excluded in its decision Al-Salihiya land crossing and Al-Ashara river crossing in the Deir Ezzor countryside.

It is noteworthy that the regime had earlier closed the river crossings with SDF areas where smuggling operations are active, and SDF launched several raids on the river ferries.
