Two members of the regime forces were killed and a number of regime forces were injured, yesterday, Thursday, as a result of an attack targeting them north of Jabal al-Bishri in Al-Raqqa desert, in an incident that has been repeated several times during the last few months.

According to what " al-Kull Radio website" reported, a patrol of the Fourth Division of the regime forces was attacked by unidentified gunmen with automatic weapons, in an area 4 km north of Jabal al-Bishri in the desert of Al-Raqqa.

The source indicated that the attack led to killing two members of the regime forces, and injury several others, while the attackers fled and were not identified.

It added that the regime forces had military reinforcements to the site of the attack, and transported the dead and wounded to the hospital in Ma'dan city, in the eastern countryside of Al-Raqqa, by means of a vehicle belonging to "Army of Tribes" militia.

It is noteworthy that during last weeks, ISIS launched dozens of surprise attacks on the positions of the regime forces and militias backed by Iran and Russia, in the areas of the Syrian desert, especially in the areas of Palmyra and As-Sukhnah, and near the gas fields in the eastern countryside of Homs.
