Police and Public Security forces in Azaz city announced that they had seized quantities of drugs in a car on Azaz Afrin road in Aleppo countryside.

According to what Azaz Security Directorate stated yesterday, Thursday, a suspected Hyundai pickup car, on 13/09/2021 by anti-smuggling and anti-drug police, was pursued and stopped on Azaz Afrin road, and searched.

The directorate indicated that 64,800 Zolam pills, 7,400 tramadol pills, and 7,500 Fostan pills were seized, a total of 79,700 narcotic pills.

The directorate added that three people who were inside the car were arrested and investigations are still ongoing, into the details of drug possession.

It is noteworthy that on the third of this month, the Police and National Public Security forces in Azaz Security Directorate said that after a suspected car was searched by the Division's members, three white bags containing 530,000 Captagon pills were found inside.
