It added that the operation resulted in killing a number of Russian soldiers and several members of the regime forces and the militias supporting them, and the revolutionary factions were able to snipe a militia member on the axis of Malajah village in the southern countryside of Idlib.

This comes at a time when Russia has escalated its bombardment of Jabal al-Zawiya areas, south of Idlib, in particular the towns of Al-Bara, Kansafra, Deir Sunbul and Al-Fatirah.

It is noteworthy that despite the submission of Idlib region to the ceasefire agreement signed between the Russian and Turkish presidents in the spring of 2020; The militias continue to violate the agreement through systematic bombing campaigns aimed at displacing the population and emptying the area.
