Media sources confirmed that a meeting took place in the city of Tafas in the western countryside of Daraa governorate, between Brigadier General "Loay al-Ali", head of Military Intelligence in Daraa, and other officers from the Security Committee on the one hand, and the former local leader and member of the central committees, "Mahmoud al-Bardan (Abu Murshid)" and members of Others from the central committees in the western region of Daraa on the other hand.

According to the sources, a meeting between Kan was intended to agree to install new military and security points inside the city of Tafas during the next few days.

The meeting also aims to agree on handing over a certain number of light weapons, in addition to a 14.5-caliber anti-tank weapon that members of the local factions subject to the settlement obtained from military sites for the army during the last period.
