On the night of Thursday - Friday, local sources reported that the Syrian revolution factions confronted an attempt to infiltrate Al-Assad forces and the militias loyal to them on the Shashabo Mountain axis in the southern countryside of Idlib.

Field sources confirmed that HTS fighters repelled an attempt to infiltrate a group of regime forces at night on Fleifel front in Jabal Shahshabo in the southern countryside of Idlib.

The sources added that this attempt was dealt with by mortars and heavy artillery, forcing the infiltrating militias to retreat to their positions.

According to Al-Durar Al-Shamiya, the various Idlib fronts have witnessed an increasing escalation for several months, during which the regime forces committed horrific massacres in Jabal Al-Zawiya, south of Idlib, with Russian laser-guided “Krasnopol” missiles, despite the region’s submission to the Russian-Turkish armistice agreement, signed in March of last year.
