Sources: A rebel from Daraa slaps Al-Assad regime TV reporter inside Al-Omari Mosque

The regime TV reporter in Daraa was exposed to an embarrassing situation while covering the entry of Al-Assad's forces into the besieged neighborhoods to verify the identity of its residents.

Ayman Abu Nuqta, a spokesman for Ahrar Houran Gathering, said in a post on his Facebook page on Wednesday that the regime's TV reporter, Jaafar Younes, tried to enter |Al-Omari mosque wearing his shoes.

He added, according to what was reported by the opposition Orient Net website, that one of the people present, when he saw that scene, slapped the reporter in front of the eyes of Al-Assad militia officers and expelled him from the mosque.

He pointed out that the reporter hardly stood for a few minutes in front of Al-Omari Mosque, then turned away while covering the entry of Al-Assad's militias into the neighborhoods of Daraa Al-Balad.

In the same context, a video recording showed the people of Daraa al-Balad mocking the members of Al-Assad militia as they entered the besieged neighborhoods.

The recording records the state of panic, apprehension and fear that accompanied the militia members as they entered the besieged neighborhoods, and on the other hand, the people's mockery of those elements who remained silent for fear.

In early September, a video recording published by activists on social media platforms sparked a large wave of ridicule after one of the members of the Central Negotiation Committee showed him threatening Firas Al-Ahmad, the correspondent of the pro-Assad channel Sama channel, in front of an officer of the Fourth Division militia.

A member of the Central Committee threatened the reporter, Firas Al-Ahmad, saying: "Firas Al-Ahmad... I want to curse your honor, God willing... We have a date, God willing... You want to enter Daraa al-Balad, O dog... You came and you did not fall short, and God willing, we are," We will not fail."
