Local sources reported that the Fourth Division militia ended its presence in the neighborhoods of Daraa al-Balad by a looting campaign of residential neighborhoods and agricultural lands, according to which it stole as much civilian property as it could in the areas it occupied during the military campaign on the area.

Activists and local networks, including "Ahrar Houran Gathering", said on Thursday that the militia, during its withdrawal, looted and stole homes and farms that had taken its military headquarters in Daraa al-Balad and its surroundings, in the areas of al-Nakhla, Shiah, al-Khawabi and al-Qubba, in addition to uprooting some olive trees from agricultural orchards for the purpose of converting them to firewood for heating.

The assembly explained that the elements of the Fourth Division stole the property of the people, saying that a large number of military groups and their heavy vehicles left the vicinity of the area towards the western front of Daraa suburb, loaded with furniture of homes and farms that they used as headquarters, and that most of their cars are loaded with electrical tools and wooden doors. and iron.

In a video recording, carried by the opposition Orient website, a resident of Daraa al-Balad appeared after the militia members withdrew from his house, and said that the militia members stole all the contents of his house and did not leave anything for him, including “his children’s clothes, blankets, house doors, cabins, bathtubs, fans, television and a tool box.”
