The Syrian Civil Defense confirmed that the health conditions in northwestern Syria have become catastrophic, due to the massive increase in the number of Corona virus infections.

The Civil Defense said that more than fifty injuries were recorded in one day, and six deaths, pointing to the inability of the health system to absorb more injuries, due to the lack of medical capabilities.

It added that the situation is catastrophic in northwestern Syria due to the huge increase in the number of infections with Corona virus, in light of the occupancy of hospitals and isolation centers, and the inability to absorb more infections.

It stressed the need to take the vaccine and follow the instructions to prevent infection with the virus, such as wearing a mask, social distancing, and constantly sterilization hands.

It is noteworthy that the regions of northwestern Syria are witnessing a significant increase in the number of new infections with Corona virus, amid the continued appeal of local and health authorities to the need for people to adhere to prevention standards and support the medical sector.
