Opening a hospital to isolate Corona patients in Marea

The Health Directorate of the Syrian Interim Government announced, through an official statement, the opening of a hospital to isolate patients with “Corona” virus in the city of Marea, north of Aleppo.
Enab Baladi newspaper quoted the director of the hospital, Doctor Tariq Najjar, that an isolation hospital designated for critical cases of people infected with “Corona” virus has become a necessity in the northern Syrian regions, due to the inability of existing hospitals to accommodate large numbers of infected people.
The doctor indicated that the need for the isolation hospital is due to insufficient respirators, and the lack of well-trained cadres to deal with critical cases of the injured.
He stressed that they subjected the hospital staff to training that would raise practical experiences, as the training included methods of infection control, treatment protocols, and methods of dealing with critical cases of people infected with the virus.
It is noteworthy that the hospital designated for those infected with the virus, which was opened, is the first of its kind in the northern and eastern countryside of Aleppo.
