Fatemiyoun transports the bodies of fighters killed in Syria for burial in Iran

Fatemiyoun militia transported the bodies of two of its dead who were killed in Syria, for burial in Iran, a few days after the Iranian Revolutionary Guard transferred a number of the remains of its soldiers.

According to the Iranian Fars News Agency, Awad Ahmadi was identified 5 years after his disappearance, in Aleppo region, on September 2016, when he claimed that he was one of the defenders of the shrine in Syria.

The militia circulated pictures showing the funeral of the dead Ahmadi, whose body was discovered this year by an investigation team, and was identified by a DNA test.

It added that it was able to locate the body of another dead man it claimed had defended the Fatimid shrine, called "Muhammad Arash Ahmadi", who was born in 1975 and was killed in 2016 in Syria, where his remains will reach Mashhad and his funeral will be announced later.

It is noteworthy that “Fatimiyoun” militia is an Afghan Shiite militia founded by “Ali Reza Tavasoli” in 2014 to fight the Syrian people, under the supervision of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards.
