Darrar denies that SDF informed of a decision from Washington to withdraw from Syria

The co-chair of SDF, Riad Darrar, denied that the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) had been informed of a US decision to withdraw its forces from military bases in northeastern Syria.

He pointed out that what they heard in SDF from American officials, is that their country is not about to withdraw its forces from Syria, and that their forces are continuing in the war against terrorism represented by the "Islamic State" organization, according to what was quoted by Al-Quds Al-Arabi newspaper.

Several reports indicated that SDF was informed by an American delegation that visited Syria recently and met with its leaders in the city of Ayn al-Arab (Kobani) that Washington decided to withdraw its forces from Syria completely, after withdrawing its forces from Afghanistan.

The spokesman for the independents in the Negotiations Committee, Muhannad Al-Kateh, said that the United States had indeed decided to withdraw from Syria, attributing this to information he received from sources, according to him. the lst two days,

Ilham Ahmed, an official in the Syrian Democratic Forces, called on the coalition to dialogue to form a political opposition body.

And the spokesman for the Kurdish Protection Units, Nuri Mahmoud, confirmed his forces' readiness to establish good relations with all Syrian opposition and regional parties (Turkey).

According to al-Kati, it is normal for SDF to deny information about an American withdrawal from Syria, with the aim of pushing the Syrian parties (the opposition, the regime) to accept dialogue with them, as a Syrian party.
