By the Iranian militias’ protection, Iraqi tankers cross the Syrian territory to Lebanon

Local sources reported that a new batch of tankers loaded with fuel entered Syrian territory during the last hours, coming from Iraq to Lebanon.

The sources added that about 39 tankers entered through the crossings under the control of the militias affiliated with Iran in Al-Mayadin and Albu-kamal in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, and headed to the Lebanese territories.

It indicated that the tankers were accompanied by military vehicles from "Abu al-Fadl al-Abbas" militia, noting that the tankers took Deir Ezzor road, heading towards Homs and from there to Lebanon.

It is noteworthy that these tanks are the second batch of fuel derivatives sent to Lebanon, which suffers from a severe fuel crisis, the first batch, which entered on August 29, included at least 50 tankers carrying gasoline.
