A man and a woman were killed, and others were wounded, today, Sunday, when a car bomb exploded in the city of Afrin in the northern countryside of Aleppo, which is under the control of the Syrian National Army.

Qasioun reporter in Aleppo countryside said that a car bomb exploded in Al-Ashrafieh neighborhood in Afrin city, killing an unidentified man and woman, and wounding three civilians as a preliminary result.

Our reporter added that the civil defense teams rushed to the scene of the explosion and worked to transfer the two bodies to the hospital and put out the flames caused by the explosion and removed its traces.

It is noteworthy that the engineering teams of the National Army seized a booby-trapped motorcycle near the Nowruz roundabout in the center of Afrin on the first of September.
