Announcing death Abu Salim Daaboul, director of the office of Al-Assad father and son for nearly half a century

Informed sources in Damascus reported, on Saturday evening, death the Director of the Office of the Presidency of the Syrian regime, Muhammad Deeb Daboul.
Daaboul died, according to the sources, in a Damascus hospital at the age of 85.
In turn, sources close to his family told the German "DPA" agency that Daaboul died of a terminal illness, adding that his body will be buried today, Sunday, in the city of Deir Atiyah, 90 km away. kilometers north of the Syrian capital.
Daaboul, known in Syria as Abu Salim, who was born in 1935 in the city of Deir Atiyah in Al-Qalamoun Mountains, held the position of Director of the Special Office in the Presidency of the regime for nearly half a century, where he accompanied Hafez al-Assad,
Since the beginning of his accession to power in the country in 1971, and after his death in 2000, he held the same position in the organs of the head of the regime, Bashar al-Assad.
