The Director of Ambulance and Emergency in the Ministry of Health, Tawfiq Hassaba, revealed that the Ministry of Health has launched a wide campaign to vaccinate citizens over 18 against the Corona virus, starting next Sunday 5-9-2021.

And an account in a statement to the agency, SANA, indicated that the campaign will be carried out through registration on the special platform for the vaccine and then go to the center without waiting for the message of the known information, in addition to the registered people who have not yet received the message, indicating that it will be implemented through 200 health centers, hospitals and mobile teams located at fixed points in all provinces.

He indicated that 19 health centers and hospitals will be allocated for this campaign in Damascus and 44 in its countryside, pointing out that there is a plan to increase in case of high turnout to accommodate all citizens wishing to receive the vaccine, as the turnout will be monitored during the first and second day of the campaign.

Children under the age of 18, pregnant and lactating women, people with a history of allergy to the vaccine “during the first dose” and those with chronic diseases during the acute attack of the disease are excluded from the campaign, according to Dr. Hassaba, pointing out that there is a health staff in each center to assess the health status of each person before giving him the vaccine.
