The regime finds a mass grave of its members in Homs countryside

Today, the Syrian regime forces found a mass grave dating back to the period of te "ISIS" organization, during a search operation near the city of Palmyra, east of Homs.

"Ain Al-furat" network quoted an informed source as saying that the mine engineering team of the regime forces found a mass grave this morning, during the process of removing mine remnants, north Al-Amiriya town in Palmyra countryside.

The network added that the cemetery contains the bodies of soldiers from the regime forces, who were killed during the control of the "Islamic State" organization (ISIS) over the area.

It pointed out that military reinforcements and a Syrian Red Crescent team immediately arrived from Palmyra and Homs to the site and imposed a security cordon around it, to avoid approaching it and start the process of exhuming and identifying the bodies.

It pointed out that the cemetery contained between 10 to 15 bodies of military personnel who were killed by the "Islamic State" organization during the period of its breaking into the area, with the possibility that the number would be greater than that when the exhumation process ended.

It is noteworthy that this cemetery is the seventh among the cemeteries that have been found in the Syrian desert since the departure of the organization and the control of the Iranian and Russian militias and the regime forces over the area.
