Yesterday, Wednesday, a military source said that the United States had evacuated three of its military bases in Syria.

Among the geographical locations of the American bases that were evacuated:

1/ In Deir Ezzor governorate, Al-Omar field area near oil wells in Deir Ezzor governorate.

2 / In Al-Hasakah Governorate, near Al-Qamishli, Tal Al-Baydar area.

3 / In Al-Hasakah Governorate, Qasrak area, south of Al-Qamishli

This came, according to the Iranian Al-Alam channel, at a time when the American forces withdrew all their military forces from Afghanistan, as part of a confusing and chaotic operation two decades after its occupation (2001 - 2021).

With that, the process of US forces leaving the region entered a new phase with the evacuation of Afghanistan, which is expected to be completed by the end of this year with the departure of Iraq.
