Opposition factions thwart regime forces infiltration attempt in Idlib countryside

The opposition factions repelled an infiltration attempt by the regime forces and the militias supporting them, in the countryside of Idlib, at a time when violations continue by the regime and Russia against separate areas of northwestern Syria.
Qasioun's reporter in the area said that the National Liberation Front thwarted at dawn today, Wednesday, an attempt to infiltrate the regime forces on the axis of the town of Afs in the eastern countryside of Idlib.
Our reporter added, quoting an informed source, that violent clashes with medium and light weapons took place between the fighters of the military factions and the group that tried to infiltrate, which led to deaths and injuries among the regime forces and the militias supporting them.
He pointed out that Russian warplanes launched air raids on the vicinity of Al-Hamamah village in the western countryside of Jisr Al-Shughur, west of Idlib, while Al-Assad's forces bombed with heavy artillery Harsh Benin in the southern countryside of Idlib, and the villages of Al-Sarmaniyah and Dower Al-Akrad in Al-Ghab Plain in the northwestern Hama countryside.
It is noteworthy that the regime forces and Russia intensified their bombing of the liberated areas by land and air, despite the ceasefire agreement.
