Local sources confirmed that an agreement was reached to end the escalation in the city of Daraa, during the meeting held this evening between the central committees in Daraa on the one hand, and the security committee of the regime and the Russian delegation on the other.

According to what was reported by the local Daraa 24 network, sources from the negotiating committees said that an agreement was reached with the Security Committee and the Russian delegation.

The sources added that the items also included setting three common points between Military Security and the Eighth Brigade of the Fifth Corps, making settlements for wanted persons, handing over weapons, and displacing those who do not wish to make a settlement, stressing that the agreement will enter into force starting tomorrow.

It is noteworthy that the commander of the Russian forces in Syria and the Syrian Defense Minister, General "Ali Ayoub", arrived in Daraa province via a helicopter, which landed at exactly three o'clock in the municipal stadium of Daraa al-Mahatta, to hold a meeting with the committees of Daraa, according to what Ahrar Houran Gathering said.
