The Ministry of Tourism in Al-Assad government announced that Minister Muhammad Rami Radwan Martini arrived to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on an official visit for the first time since diplomatic relations between the two countries were cut nearly ten years ago.

The Syrian Ministry of Tourism said that Martini arrived yesterday, Tuesday, at the head of a delegation from the Ministry of Tourism, at the invitation of the Ministry of Tourism in the Kingdom and the World Tourism Organization.

According to the Ministry of Tourism, a delegation from the ministry headed by Minister of Tourism Muhammad Martini arrived in Saudi Arabia to participate in the forty-seventh meeting of the Committee of the World Tourism Organization for the Middle East and the opening of the regional office for the Middle East and the holding of a conference to revive tourism that will be held in Riyadh, the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 26-27 May 2021
