News sources reported that Iran had established, recently, a new military base for its militias in the countryside of Aleppo, in an area corresponding to the areas of influence of the Syrian Democratic Forces.

The sources said that the establishment of the base comes in light of these expansion operations in Aleppo, after Tehran announced earlier this month, the opening of an Iranian consulate in Aleppo.

The sources pointed out that the new base is located on a hill in a village known as Habbouba, which is close to the areas of the presence of the International Coalition Forces and "SDF", which are stationed near the banks of the Euphrates River.

This is not the only military base there, last April, a joint Syrian-Russian military post was announced, in the same area, in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, which includes heavy vehicles and a military communications center?

About the source of the weapons and ammunition that reached the Iranian base, it is only known that they came from the region west of the Euphrates and Homsi desert, according to informed sources.
