Military Security arrests officers from 4th Division on charges of selling weapons to ISIS

Members of the "Military Security" of the Syrian regime forces raided the Dhahriya neighborhood, south of Palmyra, east of Homs, and arrested 3 members of the "Fourth Division" and a fourth from the "Revolutionary Guard" militia inside a house where they were meeting after accusing them of trafficking weapons for the benefit of ISIS.
"Ain Al-Furat" network, quoted local sources, said that the regime's "military security" had cordoned off the entire neighborhood of Al-Dhahiriya and raided the house and arrested those in it in coordination with the leadership of the Fourth Division.
They pointed out that among the detainees is an officer with the rank of major who is from the city of Homs, and conversations were found via the "Skype" program in the detainees' possession confirming their involvement in commercial deals with "suspicious parties" likely affiliated with "ISIS", without any comment from their leadership.
Among the detainees was a Lieutenant officer from the "Fourth Division" involved in providing an ambulance with all its medical equipment to the organization, which was revealed by the preliminary investigations.
They pointed out that a huge security campaign will target, in the coming days, elements and officers of the Syrian regime and Iranian militias who are involved in drug and weapons trafficking operations with parties likely to be from "ISIS".
