A delegation from the Belarusian House of Representatives arrived to Damascus, and said that it was in response to a call by the regime’s People's Assembly to monitor the presidential elections that will take place on the 26th of this month.

Observers pointed out that the regime injected huge sums of money into the election campaign to support Bashar al-Assad, including the delegations that he called to monitor the elections, while it would have been more beneficial if he had transferred these funds to support the living life of Syrians, who suffer from terrible economic conditions.
