A car dealer was killed and his family were wounded, after an explosive device exploded in the car carrying him and his family near the Glenn housing in the western countryside of Daraa today, Saturday.

Local sources said that the 60-year-old "Jaber Adeeb Al-Zouri," who is from Khirbet Qais village, was heading to Al-Quneitra accompanied by his uncle and his family, during the explosion of the explosive device in the car they were traveling in.

The sources added that the families ’attempts to extinguish the burning car did not bear fruit, which led to his death and his uncle,“ Saleh Al-Zouri, injured ”and two women, in addition to children, with various wounds.

Sources close to the merchant told "Snack Suri" website that "Al-Zouri" did not have any problems or disputes with anyone, and that he works in the car trade and has not been exposed in advance to any assassination or targeting attempt.

The sources indicated that the explosive device was planted in his car by unknown persons and exploded near "Glenn housing" cross, according to eyewitnesses who were working on the ground.

The villages and towns of Daraa are witnessing continuous security incidents and assassinations, affecting former leaders of the Free Army and elements of the regime and the militia supporting it in light of the spread of weapons randomly.
