An explosive device exploded today in front of the activities center in Al-Tala`a branch in Daraa, as part of a series of bombings that followed demonstrations and a general strike in a number of areas of the governorate, coinciding with the presidential elections.

According to the local "Ahrar Horan Association" source, the recent bombing took place in the northern Al-Khat area, about 15 meters away from the activity center in "Tala' Al-Baath", and that the explosion did not result in any casualties.

The source added that unidentified persons targeted the municipality building in Naima, east of Daraa, with a hand grenade, in addition to targeting the house of "Fouad Al-Hamad," the secretary of the party division in the town with a grenade.

He pointed out that the western town of al-Malihah witnessed the burning of tires in front of the municipality building, in the context of the threat to those who contribute to setting up ballot boxes in the municipality.

In addition, a huge explosion rocked the town of Khirbet Ghazaleh after midnight, without knowing the causes yet, according to the site, hours before the start of the presidential elections in Syria.
