Iraqi Al-Nujaba Movement militia establishes its fourth headquarters in Deir Ezzor

Today, Wednesday, Iraqi Al-Nujaba Movement of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard finished equipping its fourth headquarters in the town of Ma'dan Ateeq, which is under the control of the Syrian regime and which is affiliated to the area of Altibni, west of Deir Ezzor, after preparatory work that lasted for about 4 months.
According to local media sources, this office will work with the help of Iranian militias in the region to open volunteer offices within their ranks for the people of Deir Ezzor, with the aim of attracting them.
In the coming period, the militia intends to establish a Syrian wing with local leaders, which requires all these movements in northeastern Syria, reaching the eastern countryside of Homs.
It is noteworthy that Iraqi Nujaba militia, which includes about 10,000 fighters with its leader, Akram Al-Kaabi, was placed on the terrorist list in 2019.
The militia was established in 2013 with the support of Iran, and it also receives funding from the Iraqi government, despite its lack of submission to Baghdad and its loyalty to the Iranian guide Ali Khamenei, according to US State Department.
