Military Security gives the people of Al-Bukamal the choice between electing Assad or imprisonment

During the last hours, the military security of the Syrian regime began to conduct patrols and its members in the city of Albukamal to inform the shopkeepers that any failure to elect the head of the Syrian regime, Bashar al-Assad, during the upcoming elections will be subject arresting and imprisonment on ready charges.

The local network, Ain Al-Furat, reported that Military Security personnel passed through a number of stores in the city’s markets and informed their owners that the names of those participating in the elections would be presented to Military Security and that anyone who did not elect the head of the Syrian regime, Bashar al-Assad, will be held accountable.

The network added that members of the Russian-backed National Defense Militia worked on verbally informing the people of the need to elect Al-Assad and threatening any person who missed the elections with accountability.

They indicated that the members of both sides informed the people of the city of the need not to leave until the end of the election process to ensure the participation of all in it, as the Syrian regime seeks to gather the largest possible number of citizens and force them to elect Al-Assad.

It is noteworthy that the current elections faced interrupting and lack of recognition of their legitimacy by several countries, led by the United States, in addition to several popular reactions towards loyalists of the Syrian regime, as happened in Lebanon.
