Bashar al-Assad challenges the West, and says the value of your views on the Syrian elections is zero

The President of the Syrian regime, Bashar Al-Assad, declared that the statements of Western countries denying the legitimacy of the current presidential elections in his country are not worth anything.
The regime's head told reporters after casting his vote at a voting station in Douma, in the eastern Ghouta of Damascus, accompanied by his wife Asma today, Wednesday, that Syria does not pay any attention to the West’s statements about the current elections, commenting on it: “The value of your opinions is zero.”
The president of the regime claimed that his vote from Douma is evidence of the unity of the Syrian people in the face of terrorism.
According to him, for years Douma was one of the largest strongholds of armed groups in Eastern Ghouta, Damascus, and government forces regained control of this city in the spring of 2018.
