Phrases rejecting the presidential elections in Syria on Daraa’s walls amid calls for a comprehensive strike

Walls of many villages and towns in the countryside of Daraa witnessed graffiti written by unknown persons, on Tuesday, refusing to hold the presidential elections scheduled for today, which they called "boxes of shame and humiliation."
And local sources reported that the phrases expressed the opinion of the people rejecting the regime's elections to be held today, Wednesday, noting that among the phrases that were written on the walls, "the elections are a farce whose heroes are slaves."
The writings called for a general strike today, Wednesday, saying, "To all the free people, it is a day of a general strike, and there is no legitimacy for Al-Assad and his elections."
According to the opposition Syria TV, the sources indicated that most of the villages and towns of the eastern and western countryside of Daraa are witnessing a total strike, as the towns of Al-Hirak, Karak, Sidon, Jasim, Nawa and others witnessed an almost complete closure of commercial stores.
On Tuesday, civilians demonstrated in Daraa al-Balad in the courtyard of the al-Omari mosque, rejecting the presidential elections and giving any legitimacy to Al-Assad regime, asserting that “there is no legitimacy for Al-Assad and his elections,” carrying banners that read, “There is no future for Syrians with the killer.”
Revolutionary and tribal forces and actors and notables from the governorates of Daraa and Rural Damascus announced that the date for voting in the presidential elections, today, Wednesday, will be a day of "mourning and mourning", calling in a statement to boycott the presidential elections scheduled to take place in the regime-controlled areas, and confirming that participation in them, Shame."
