A woman drowned in Al-Hasakah Dam lake, eastern Syria

Local sources reported that a woman from the southern countryside of Al-Hasakah governorate died yesterday, Wednesday, drowned in the lake of "Al-Hasakah" dam.
The local Furat Post news network reported that 20-year-old Nawal Issa Al-Hamza died yesterday, Wednesday, by drowning in the Hasakah Dam lake.
The network added that two women were rescued, who were taken to the hospital to receive the necessary treatment, while the three women were washing clothes on the shore of the lake, due to the scarcity of water in "Al-Areesha" camp in Hasaka.
It is noteworthy that the inhabitants of the Euphrates River regions in northern and eastern Syria are exposed to frequent cases of drowning for various reasons, the most important of is during swimming in the river and the lakes as resorts that the people go to and a young man's lost his life because his swimming in the dangerous lake “Maidanki” in the countryside of Aleppo a few days ago.
