Special sources in the Syrian Constitutional Committee confirmed that fears appeared to be forming recently about the absence of the political process after the end of the elections for the presidency of the Syrian regime.

The opposition Radio Rozana quoted its sources in the opposition delegation to the Constitutional Committee as saying: "The goal of the Syrian regime has become, after the end of the" presidential elections ", to assassinate the political process and the opposition, to push towards military security negotiations between the countries active in the Syrian file and Al-Assad regime.

And it considered that through the security and military negotiations, the regime will seek to override the political process and UN Resolution 2254, which may lead to blowup the political process and replacing it with side deals that guarantee the interests of some countries interfering in the Syrian file.

The sources believed that these negotiations form a threat to the future demands of the Syrian people.

Noting that Moscow is seeking those negotiations in order to gain more influence through the reconstruction phase.
